Changes to my study program

-Hi everyone, I will tell you about my study program and some changes that I managed to implement throughout these 2 years at the university.

-First to say, that some changes that I am going to start making is thanks to a subject called “strategic learning at the university”, which we started recently, but we have already discussed enough topics that most of the students do.

-To tell you first that one of the biggest changes I made was to organize a complete schedule of evaluations along with the days or times I have to study, and free time to dedicate to homework (and if there is a little more time to fun)

-The other thing that changed in my study of mechanics was technique. I use a so-called "pomodoro technique" which consists of studying in 25-minute blocks and a 5-minute break between these blocks; after 2 hours of study about 15 to 30 minutes of  break.

-the truth was one of the techniques that helped me the most to absorb knowledge continuously

-Also another change that I am going to implement is to reduce the use of social networks during my study, that is, to reduce distractors as much as possible (this is thanks to the subject I mentioned above)

-I can also say that I made slightly smaller changes to my environment, which eliminate visual distractions, but this is a bit more personal.

-That's all, until next time.

  1. How great that you have been able to apply the "Pomodoro technique" in your routine, since it requires a lot of perseverance.

(But first I have to admit that this is a pretty complicated profession, although it is something that I am passionate about, it has many positive aspects: D) Some of the things that I love about dentistry are its practicalities. Being able to learn with a teacher pointing out the mistakes and the techniques that you should use is something surprising, especially because of the type of "bond" that is generated. That they teach us the different looks and the commitment to what health means is something surprising, since at the end of the day we will be a class of doctors !!! Topics such as "scientific and clinical bases for diagnosis", give us a very deep approach to everything that is health, oral diseases and different functioning in relation to the mouth!!! And although these last few years have been in the context of a pandemic, I am deeply amazed at how our career was able to ada...
